NAWD Celebrates 2016 Harvest Classic Virtual Show Winners

Exhibitors from around the country grabbed their video cameras and saddled up for North American Western Dressage’s Harvest Classic Virtual Show September 3–11.

The show featured a fundraiser to benefit the late Mark Russell’s natural dressage education resources. NAWD matched donations of $5 per test and was able to send a check to Hela Russell for $500 to help preserve Mark’s legacy.

Participants submitted over 120 tests showcasing their partnership and harmony with their horses in a variety of events—Western and traditional dressage, in-hand events, freestyle competition and more. Exhibitors received detailed feedback from NAWD’s team of judges, and top-placing exhibitors in each class receive custom artisan ribbons by Michelle Guillot.

Though exhibitors could film their rides from anywhere, several banded together at host barns to tape their virtual entries; their barn affiliations are noted in the results. Shout out to our host barns for this event: Double Lane Horsemanship (DLH) in Wisconsin; Flying Fox Farms (FF) in Texas; Spring Creek Stables (SRC) in Texas; Melissa Jesurun Performance Horse Training Center in Texas; Vaquero Training Center (VTC) in Connecticut; and Stone Wall Farms in Jeffersonville, New York.
