Ticket Sales Begin November 1 for
2017 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event
Lexington, KY - October 18, 2016 -Ticket sales for the 2017 Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event open on November 1, 2016, at 9 a.m. Eastern U.S. time. Known as the "Best Weekend All Year," the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event will return to the Kentucky Horse Park in Lexington, Kentucky, April 27-30.
"Historically tickets sell out quickly and we expect the same of the 2017 event," said Stewart Perry, President of Equestrian Events, Inc. (EEI), organizer of the Rolex Kentucky Three-Day Event. "Each year is bigger and better so anyone who wants to come watch the world's best horses and riders should make sure to buy their tickets as soon as they go on sale!"
For a unique world-class Rolex Kentucky experience, special Ringside Hospitality packages are available. Cross-Country day (Saturday) draws massive crowds to the Kentucky Horse Park, so those interested in acquiring a reserved place along the course for the popular Land Rover Tailgate are urged to reserve their spaces early. The Land Rover Tailgating passes include 6 general admission tickets and one reserved parking space near the Cross-Country course. Premium spots generally sell out in the first few days of ticket sales. The 2016 event hosted more than 82,000 attendees over the four days of competition with 34,000-plus cheering fans on Cross-Country day alone!
Ticket options include single-day, three-day (Fri-Sat-Sun) and four-day general admissions, as well as group sales and reserved grandstand seating. All grounds admission tickets include parking, admission to the Kentucky Horse Park and International Trade Fair, but do not include access to the competition in the Rolex Stadium. Reserved grandstand seating is sold separately from grounds admission and traditionally the best seats are sold out by January 1, so everyone is encouraged to place orders as early as possible.
As of November 1, tickets can be ordered online at www.RK3DE.org/tickets or over the phone (859-254-8123). Groups of 15 or more are encouraged to call into the box office to place their order.
